The LMA will be holding an afternoon seminar for Members in Madrid on 3 March, 2010. The seminar will cover topical issues impacting the syndicated loan market and its participants, with particular focus on the Spanish market.
Agenda
The agenda will focus on 3 core issues. Firstly, an update on key developments in the loan operations/settlements area, including the development of reconciliation platforms, the application of unique identification numbers and the introduction of e-messaging.
Secondly, there will be an overview of the new LMA Debt Trading Documentation. As you will have seen from previous communications, the LMA have merged their secondary par/distressed documentation into a single suite of documents which will be formally launched on the 25 January, 2010. The seminar will include a review of the approach.
Lastly, the final presentation will focus on key themes in Spanish restructurings and related issues. Please note all presentations will be in English.
